Raised in the remote woodlands of Northern Michigan, Joshua Langstaff has always been attracted to the sublime beauty of the natural world. Early on this affinity began to express itself in the form of art. A career as an artist was without question. Joshua works in the realist tradition attempting to simultaneously capture the naturalistic appearance and spiritual resonance of his subjects.
Most recently Joshua has studied with Juliette Aristides at the Gage Academy of Art in Seattle, Washington.
